Krewe of Cypress presents 5 debutantes in Addis; Carnival ball is Feb. 15

The Krewe of Cypress presented five young women at its annual debutante presentation ball on Nov. 29 at the Addis Community Center.

Presentation chairperson was Lauren Stein-Leach.

Debutantes introduced to members and guests were:

Daniella Sofia Alvarez, daughter of Lisette and Jose’ Raul Alvarez, presented by her cousins Josh and Nedi Alvarez Morgan and escorted by Josh Morgan

Anna Catherine Bradford, daughter of Amy and Jerry Bradford, escorted by her father

Cassidy Lane Cannella, daughter of Lani and Patrick Bedwell and Randy Cannella, escorted by Patrick Bedwell

Claire Elizabeth Guerin, daughter of Shawn and Brad Guerin, escorted by her father

Juliana Mayer Hebert, daughter of Eric Lions Hebert and Kitty Rills Hebert, escorted by her father

Brett Bergeron served as master of ceremonies. The debutantes and their escorts were served Champagne for the ceremonial toast. The debutantes, members of the krewe and their guests then enjoyed a night of dancing.

The five debutantes will also serve as maids in the krewe’s annual Carnival ball in Plaquemine on Feb. 15, 2025.
