Krispy Kreme offering free doughnuts to celebrate World Kindness Day
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – A familiar brand is offering up free treats in recognition of World Kindness Day on Wednesday.
Krispy Kreme said that the first 500 guests at each of its shops can pick up a dozen original glazed doughnuts, free of charge.
“World Kindness Day is a reminder that we can all make a positive impact in people’s lives, including through small gestures like sharing a sweet treat,” Krispy Kreme’s Dave Skena said. “We hope that each dozen original glazed doughnuts we give away enables and inspires many dozens of small acts of kindness.”
Customers can pick up the free box of doughnuts either inside or through the drive-thru. No purchase is necessary.
The Charlotte-based company operates more than 40 shops across the Carolinas. Find the one nearest you here.
World Kindness Day has been celebrated every Nov. 13 since its creation in 1998.
