CRESSON — Aliyah Mickle went 3-for-3 with two doubles and five RBIs to lead Bedford past Penn Cambria, 10-3, Monday in high school softball.

Bailey Mickle had three hits, and Sami Shoemaker drove in two runs for Bedford. Patty Wagner and Sophia Rabatin drove in runs for PC.

C-K’s Francona has big day

WARFORDSBURG — Claysburg-Kimmel erupted for 12 runs in the second inning of an 18-0 three-inning win over Southern Fulton.

McKenna Black smacked two home runs — a three-run and two-run as part of her 3-for-3 day, while Bella Francona singled, doubled and tripled while knocking five runs for the Lady Bulldogs.

Zakera Bush came through with three hits and two RBIs, while Emalee Cavender had two hits and two RBIs, Payton Hinish drove home two runs and winning pitcher Launa Musselman and Zailee Bush tallied two hits each for C-K.

Ruddek tough for CC

JOHNSTOWN — Aubrey Ruddek threw a four-inning perfect game with seven strikeouts, while helping herself out at the plate with two doubles and a single in Central Cambria’s 15-0 win in four innings over Johnstown.

Mariska Mack went 2-for-2, Keira Link smacked a homer and Camryn Matlin doubled and drove in three runs for the 9-2 Lady Red Devils.

Clearfield cruises

CLEARFIELD — Bellwood-Antis could only manage three runs in the first inning of a 13-3 five inning loss to Clearfield.

Parker Martin, Palynn Gregg and Cami Focht all recorded two hits for the Lady Blue Devils, while Gregg struck out 11 despite earning the loss.

Rhodes shines for Central

MARTINSBURG — Aubrey Rhodes hit a walk-off single in the bottom of the eighth inning to lift Central to a 3-2 victory over Huntingdon.

Rhodes finished the game with three hits, while Bralyn Ellis and Kaylee Kensinger delivered two each for the Lady Dragons, which overcame striking out 16 times in the contest.

Lady Vikings split

FLINTON — Glendale split a doubleheader with Mount Union by dropping the opener, 15-5, and claiming the nightcap by a 3-1 score.

In the opener, Madison Peterson, Ava Weld and Jaylee Beck homered for the Lady Vikings, while Alyson Buterbaugh knocked in two runs.

Peterson led the way in the second game by earning the win on the mound and coming through with three hits and an RBI.

Weld drove home a pair of teammates, while Beck blasted another home run.
