Lake Mary Little League looks to avenge its only loss in the 2024 Little League World Series and advance to the championship game today.

The Florida Little League team plays Boerne, Texas for the U.S. championship in the 2024 LLWS. A win will give the Sunshine State its sixth U.S. champion and set up a title game with the winner of Taoyuan City, Chinese Taipei vs. Barquisimeto, Venezuela on Sunday afternoon. If Lake Mary loses, it plays in the third-place game tomorrow morning.

Florida, representing the Southeast region, won its first two games in Williamsport before falling to Texas, the Southwest champion, 4-1 on Monday. Lake Mary stayed alive with three more wins in three straight days, beating Henderson, Nevada 6-3 on Thursday to clinch their spot in the U.S. championship game. Boerne Little League has won all three games in the tournament, winning by a combined score of 18-3.
