The tournament is double elimination, meaning that teams must lose twice before they’re out of the running. But that hasn’t been the case for Lake Mary so far.

As the winners of Friday’s game, Lake Mary next plays on Monday at 7 p.m. Their opponents will be the Southwest champs from Boerne, Texas.

Lake Mary Little League opened the Little League World Series on Wednesday with a 2-1 win over Sioux Falls, South Dakota, meaning Lake Mary is now 2-0 for the League. During Wednesday’s match, Feliciano pitched and recorded 11 strikeouts.
