Lane restrictions return after Labor Day weekend travel in Michigan

LANSING, Mich. (WILX) – Mid-Michigan drivers will see more orange barrels again as traffic restrictions are back in place after the holiday weekend.

The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) removed traffic restrictions for 60% of its road and bridge projects during Labor Day weekend to make roads easier for drivers to navigate.

As of Tuesday, crews are returning to work.

Lane restrictions went back into effect at 6 a.m.
