Las Vegas Strip flying for World Circus Day

The most family-friendly resort on the Las Vegas Strip is flying high for World Circus Day.

Circus Circus celebrated the big day at its world-famous Midway on Friday with a variety of entertainment.

People of all ages indulged in carnival bites while catching the wild and wacky Circus Circus clown, Rocco, and the world-renowned “Flying Poemas.”

The iconic act shared their journey after coming from a generation of performers.

“You know for a circus performer, it’s like in our blood,” said Noelia Poema. “When we were little, we started doing our exercises and then join whatever the family act is. So, she grew up at Circus Circus, my three pregnancies I did it while working here at Circus Circus, working till after like 4 months of pregnancy, then got back after like a month and then they started practicing here at Circus Circus.”

Performances at Circus Circus start at 1:30 p.m. from Monday through Thursday and at 11:30 a.m. Friday through Sunday.
