Lawsuit Over Madonna’s Late Concert Start Times Dismissed

The lawsuits filed by two concertgoers against Madonna over her concert starting late have been dismissed. Michael Fellows and Jason Alvarez voluntarily dismissed their lawsuit with prejudice, meaning they can’t refile their claims. The plaintiffs filed the lawsuit against Madonna after attending her Brooklyn show at the Barclays Center. The concert was scheduled to begin at 8:30 pm, but the show only started at 10:30 pm, and they “had to get up early for work.” Fellows and Alvarez accused Madonna and Live Nation of false advertising, negligent misrepresentation and unfair trade practices. The lawyer representing Madonna and Live Nation, Jeff Warshafsky, said the dismissal “was not the result of any settlement.”
