Lawton Public Library shares joy of reading on World Book Day
LAWTON, Okla. (KSWO) – World Book Day is a global event dedicated to promoting reading and a love of books.
That’s why the Lawton Public Library and United Way of Southwest Oklahoma are teaming up to celebrate Tuesday by offering a free book to the first 50 families with children who visit the library and participating community centers.
You can get a book while supplies last at the Lawton Public Library from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., the Patterson Center from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. and both the H.C. King Community Center and Owens Center for Development and Learning from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m.
