Lea Michele Shows Off Stylish Baby Bump at 2024 Met Gala

Lea Michele stole the spotlight at the 2024 Met Gala, showcasing not just her impeccable style but also a blossoming baby bump.

The Broadway sensation and former Glee star radiated joy as she posed on the red carpet, cradling her growing belly in a stunning gown by Rodarte. The 37-year-old adorned her baby bump in a silk gown, cascaded by delicate flowers that stopped right below the bust.

Michele wrapped the look in an exaggerated lace train that trailed behind her. Completing her look, the mother-to-be kept her glam simple with a nude pink lip, subtle blush and her long brown tresses flowing in waves past her shoulders.

The news of Michele’s pregnancy delighted fans, especially after she surprised everyone with the announcement earlier in the year. Michele is expecting her second child with husband Zandy Reich, following the birth of their son, Ever, in August 2020.

The baby news came at an extra special time for the couple as they recently celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary in early March.

The couple’s journey to parenthood hasn’t been without its challenges, particularly due to Michele’s struggles with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).

“We’d given up a little bit, my husband and I,” Michele told ET back in 2021. “But they say that when you give up and when you stop trying is when these little miracles happen. But it wasn’t just for nothing. We really did work very hard with my doctor and with the process of doing all of those surgeries to help my body have a baby, which is all I’ve ever really wanted.”

This year’s theme — “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion” — is a nod to fashion history. The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s exhibition theme — curated and organized by The Costume Institute — will feature 250 items from its permanent collection displayed in a new, innovative way.

Entertainment Tonight will be on the iconic Met Gala red carpet, so keep checking back with ETonline for more coverage from fashion’s biggest night, including live updates and all of the jaw-dropping red carpet looks.
