The ladies auxiliary from Victoria Harbour Legion Branch 523 hosted a fashion show May 1.
The models presented clothing from Lilie’s Boutique at Norman’s Garden Gallery on Yonge Street in Midland.
This show was a fundraiser, with funds going to St. Vincent de Paul Society food bank in Victoria Harbour.
The show was a sellout, with the silent auction of donated items from local merchants being a hit, organizers said.
The ladies were able to present the food bank with a cheque for $2,000.
The Legion said they are planning on another event next year, perhaps in a bigger venue.
