A few Lenawee County fall sports are complete and the end is in sight for the rest.
Area volleyball, football and girls swimming are getting ready for the playoffs while cross-country run regionals this week.
Here’s a look at Lenawee County sports for the week of Oct. 21-26:
TUESDAY
Tecumseh 3, Ypsilanti 0
YPSILANTI — Tecumseh remained unbeaten in SEC White play and improved to 43-1-1 on the season as it swept Ypsilanti, 25-13, 25-8, 25-16.
Lily Gnodtke had 23 assists and helped distribute the ball across the net with Emma Eldred, Maddy VanBlack and Alli Zajac all have nine kills. Chloe Bullinger added 12 assists while Lainey Sysko had seven digs.
Clinton 3, Ida 2
CLINTON — The Redwolves improved to 11-0 in LCAA play as they battled back and forth with the Bluestreaks, 25-22, 23-25, 17-25, 25-17, 18-16.
Ida had a chance for match point up 15-14 in Set 5 before Kaylee Kranz slammed home a kill to tie it back up and eventually get the win.
Madison 4, Onsted 1
MADISON TWP. — The Trojans got an LCAA victory as they beat the Wildcats in four sets, 25-12, 25-26, 23-25, 25-13.
Lilly Pharion had 17 kills and four blocks while Kianna McKinney had 29 digs and Ja’Kara Rincon had 25 assists. Mya Solis had 11 digs on her senior night.
Hudson 3, Hillsdale 0
HILLSDALE — The Tigers continued their late-season turnaround as they beat the Hornets in LCAA play, 25-15, 25-22, 25-23.
Jewel Sinclair had nine kills and 12 digs while Maci Godfrey had 28 digs and two aces, Kassie Pickford had 28 assists, nine digs and three aces and Rihanna Ramirez had 13 digs and five aces.
Lenawee Christian 3, Summerfield 0
ADRIAN — The Cougars got some revenge and picked up a TCC sweep of the Bulldogs, 25-12, 25-12, 25-19.
It was a complete team effort for LCS, but Callie Anderson headlined the group with 10 kills while Tory Swiggum had six with three aces and Leah Sherman had three aces as well.
Dundee 3, Blissfield 0
DUNDEE — The Royals went toe-to-toe with the Vikings in an LCAA matchup, but were unable to take a set as they fell, 27-25, 25-23, 27-25.
Peyton Tennant had a monster game with 19 kills, 29 digs and three aces while Leigh Wyman had 10 kills, Eva Wilson had 10 digs and Brooklyn Fetzer had 15 assists.
Chelsea 3, Adrian 1
CHELSEA — The Maples battled, but ultimately fell in SEC White play on the road to the Bulldogs, 24-26, 29-27, 25-19, 25-18.
Ella Salenbien had 14 kills and 25 digs while Addy Martolock had 16 kills, Ashley Condon had 24 assists and 16 digs and Edynn Eichorn had 18 digs.
Erie Mason 3, Morenci 1
MORENCI — The Bulldogs fell in four sets in the TCC matchup with the Eagles, 25-11, 16-25, 25-16, 25-6.
Colbie Ekins had nine kills and 12 digs while Emersyn Bachelder had 16 digs.
Whiteford 3, Sand Creek 0
OTTAWA LAKE — The Aggies fell in a sweep to TCC foe Whiteford on the road.
Maddie Osburn had 10 digs, five assists and two kills in the loss while Carley Allen had seven digs and three kills.
Napoleon 3, Addison 0
ADDISON — The Panthers fell in a Cascades Conference matchup in three sets, 25-20, 25-17, 25-18.
Pittsford 3, Britton Deerfield 1
BRITTON — The Patriots fell in four against the Wildcats, 25-22, 25-19, 22-25, 25-21.
