I read with interest Ty Magnum’s article in Radio World Vol 48, No 17, on tower security, especially his paragraph on padlocks. It reminded me about the YouTube videos on lock picking and how easy it is to open a padlock. Here are some representative videos:

Also, lock-in-the-knobs can usually be quickly disabled with a pipe wrench.
