LG teased their wearable stretchable displays at Seoul Fashion Week. These panels can be freely stretched, folded, and twisted, enabling designers to seamlessly integrate them directly into clothing.
The first prototype, unveiled in 2022, is capable of stretching from 12 to 14 inches while maintaining a high resolution of 100ppi, or the level of a standard computer monitor, and with a full color spectrum. Unfortunately, there are no plans on bringing this technology to the market in the near future.
