Lifetime Sports Academy holds 26th annual award ceremony

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – The Lifetime Sports Academy held its 26th annual award ceremony at McMillen Park on Friday, welcoming children and families to celebrate alongside Lifetime Sports Academy and Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation Department staff.

In 2024, Lifetime Sports Academy developed golf, tennis, and swimming skills for more than 900 participants in its group lessons offered to children 7-18 years old over seven weeks in June and July. Since 1998, Lifetime Sports Academy has developed golf, tennis, and swimming skills for more than 32,000 participants.

Each year, the Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation Department provides certified coaching and highly-trained professionals who direct lessons in swimming, tennis and golf. In 2024, the following numbers of lessons were given: 1,980 golf lessons, 665 tennis lessons and 560 swim lessons.
