Ford Field is going to get a little tipsy on Thanksgiving. The Lions announced Sunday morning that rising country music singer Shaboozey will be the halftime show for their Thanksgiving game against the Chicago Bears.
The man behind the hit “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” is a six-time Grammy nominee and his latest album Where I’ve Been, Isn’t Where I’m Going debuted in the top five of the Billboard Top 200.
Shaboozey has had a strong year in 2024, winning
awards for New Artist and New Artist Song of 2024 at the People’s Choice Country Awards and was nominated for Best New Artist and Song of the Summer at the MTV Video Music Awards.
Shaboozey is also featured twice on Beyoncé’s album COWBOY CARTER in the songs “Spaghettii” and “Sweet Honey Buckiin’”.
