Lions Travel to Tulane for Midweek Matchup – Southeastern Louisiana University Athletics
HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana University baseball team wraps up the road portion of its 2024 non-conference schedule Tuesday, traveling to New Orleans, Louisiana for a 6:30 p.m. matchup against Tulane at Greer Field at Turchin Stadium.
TV coverage will be provided by ESPN+. Fans can listen to the game broadcast in the Hammond area on 90.9 The Lion. In addition, an audio stream is available online at www.LionSports.net/ListenLive and via the Lions Gameday Experience, TuneIn and MyTuner Radio apps. Both the TuneIn and MyTuner apps are compatible with the Apple CarPlay software available in most late-model automobiles. Search for KSLU 90.9 FM in the TuneIn app.
Southeastern (22-21) scored five runs in the first inning on the way to an, 8-7, win over the Green Wave (24-20) in Hammond back on March 12. SLU dropped two of three games in its Southland Conference series at McNeese this past weekend.
The Lions, hitting at a .270 clip as a team, are led at the plate by TJ Salvaggio (.315-9-32), Shea Thomas (.306-7-31), Rhett Rosevear (.290-1-8) and Ryan Brome (.285-3-21).
Right-hander Carson Robb (3-0, 2.93) draws the starting nod for SLU. The redshirt freshman from Vancleave, Mississippi will be opposed by Tulane graduate student left-hander Billy Price (2-2, 4.01).
Hitting .283 as a team, the Green Wave are led at the plate by Brady Marget (.339-7-39), Michael Lombardi (.325-1-15), Gavin Schulz (.315-8-37) and Connor Rasmussen (.307-3-33).
Tulane is coming off a series victory over Wichita State in conference action, taking two of three from the Shockers on the road.

Southeastern returns to Southland Conference action this coming weekend with the annual Pontchartrain Bowl rivalry series against New Orleans. All three games will take place at Pat Kenelly Diamond at Alumni Field and are scheduled for 6 p.m. Friday, 6 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday.

Sunday is Military Appreciation Day. Free general admission tickets are available Sunday for active military members by presenting a valid service ID at the gate.
TICKET & PARKING INFORMATION
Single-game tickets are now on sale. Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance to minimize ticket lines on game days. Southeastern students are encouraged to contact the ticket office before the game to reserve theirs in advance.
General admission tickets for most games are $11 for adults and $8 for youth (ages 3-12). Southeastern students, with a university ID, and children under age 2 are admitted for free. Gameday parking is $5 per day for standard vehicles and $25 for RVs.

Office hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Fridays. The ticket booth at Pat Kenelly Diamond at Alumni Field opens exactly one hour before the scheduled first pitch.
Southeastern uses mobile ticketing as the primary method for distributing tickets purchased online. Tickets will be available via text message or email in a PDF format for fans to download on their phone or print at home. Tickets can also be downloaded to Apple Wallet.
