The Press sat down with leadership at Bemis Manufacturing to hear the story of the company.
SHEBOYGAN – Some of the county’s largest employers across health care, education and manufacturing are seeking new workers.
Sheboygan County has wrestled with a persisting worker shortage, compounded from a low labor participation rate and lack of affordable or suitable housing and child care options. These are issues employers have made efforts to address, like offering bonuses and supporting housing projects and child care centers.
For people looking to join, reenter or make a shift in the workforce, the Sheboygan Press reached out to six employers to see if they’re hiring and where to find open positions. Plus, we share a little bit about what they do.

What is Aurora Health Care known for? The health care provider offers various services, like cancer care, women’s health and primary care, across more than a dozen hospitals and 150 clinics.
