The 2024 Little League World Series tournament begins on Wednesday afternoon with the first four of 38 total games.

Eight regional teams are set to face off throughout the day on Aug. 14. Four of the teams – the Caribbean, Mexico, Asia-Pacific and Canada regions – will begin the international side of the bracket with two games at Volunteer stadium. The remaining four – the New England, West, Southeast and Midwest regions – will begin the United States portion of the bracket.

In total, 20 teams enter the tournament, which uses a double-elimination format. Winners of the “winners’ bracket” and “elimination bracket” face off in the U.S. and international championship games, and the winner of each championship game faces off in the grand finale: the Little League World Series Championship Game.
