The 2024 Little League World Series continues on Sunday with Williamsport, Pennsylvania hosting four second-round games — all of which are win-or-go-home.
The United States bracket will see little leagues from Illinois (Hinsdale Little League), Washington (South Hill Little League), New York (South Shore Little League) and Pennsylvania (Council Rock Newtown Little League) all battling to stay in the tournament. Each team is one loss away from seeing its LLWS come to an end.
In the International bracket, Mexico and Australia will both be looking to shake off losses of double-digit runs, while Canada and Aruba had to survive loser’s bracket matches on Saturday to get another game.
Additionally, the nightcap is something special: the New York Yankees and Detroit Tigers will face off in the MLB Little League Classic at Williamsport’s Historic Bowman Field. The unique occasion, an official Major League Baseball game that will count in the standings, is intended as a way to connect baseball’s superstars with the youngsters playing in this year’s LLWS.
