Little League World Series Regionals 2024: Monday Scores and Bracket Results

A number of teams had their Little League World Series hopes on the line in Monday’s action, with a number of elimination games on the bracket. Others are now just one win away from a trip to Williamsport.

Below, we’ll break down the day’s results and highlights.

Illinois vs. Kentucky, 7 p.m. ET

New Jersey def. New York, 11-1

Connecticut vs. Rhode Island, 8 p.m. ET

Delaware vs. Washington, D.C., 5 p.m. ET

Minnesota def. Kansas, 16-6

Wisconsin vs. Iowa, 4 p.m. ET

Maine def. Massachusetts, 7-1

Maine is one win away from Williamsport, and it was mostly thanks to a five-run outburst in the fifth inning.

Charlie Armstrong led the team with three hits and three RBI, while pitcher Louie Bechard only allowed three hits, one run, and one walk in 4.1 innings.

“I felt confident, I felt like I was throwing pretty hard, and I was battling with those guys, who are some good hitters, and I felt like a warrior out there,” Bechard told Rob Gullo of the New Britain Herald. “I’m very happy because most kids don’t get this opportunity and I’m very fortunate to get this opportunity and this whole summer has been great with all these kids and it’s amazing to make it that far.”

Maine awaits the winner of New Hampshire vs. Massachusetts for the chance to advance to the Little League World Series.

Kansas actually held a 6-4 lead over Minnesota in the top of the fourth inning. And then Minnesota erupted.

The team from Saint Louis Park pushed across 10 runs in the inning en route to a 16-6 victory over the team from Riverton. That ended Kansas’ time at the Little League World Series, while Minnesota will face another win-or-go-home matchup against either Iowa or Wisconsin on Tuesday.

It took Tennessee seven innings to put away Georgia, but a five-run top of the seventh ensured the team from Goodlettsville was moving on.

A four-run second inning was enough to push the team from Jasper past Hamilton.

The team from Puyallup kept its Little League World Series hopes alive, defeating Alaska 11-4 behind Brayden Blair’s grand slam.

Morristown’s offensive explosion against New York has them one win away from Williamsport.
