2025 numerals arrive in Times Square for New Year’s Eve celebration
The seven-foot-tall 2025 numerals, with 620 total bulbs, have arrived in New York’s Time Square ahead of this year’s New Year’s Eve celebration.
The Nasser Civic Center Ice Rink will be open New Year’s Eve and on New Year’s Day in Corning.
Alex Hamilton, Corning City recreation director, said the ice rink is always very popular throughout the holiday season.

Corning museums open on New Year’s Eve
The Corning Museum of Glass and the Rockwell Museum are each open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on New Year’s Eve.
New Year’s Eve Masquerade Ball at Radisson Hotel
A New Year’s Eve Masquerade Ball featuring a buffet dinner, open bar and live music by the Sam Pallet Big Band will be held at the Radisson Hotel Corning. Marisa Thomas, general manager of the Radisson Hotel Corning, said tickets are available online at the Radisson Facebook.
