Local business owner says juvenile crime is cutting into profits
A local business owner is speaking out about how difficult they say it is to run a business in Baltimore City.
It comes after Barstool founder Dave Portnoy donated $60,000 to save Tiny Brick Oven in Federal Hill from closing. Owner, William Fagg says some of that money will go towards a liquor license to sell beer and wine, something Fagg says he’s had a hard time getting from the city.

“I’ve heard lots of reasons, and it feels like they’ve moved the goal post about why they can’t do it and all these things, but I really don’t see how a little pizza shop in Federal Hill being able to sell wine and beer is going to ruin anything for anybody, it doesn’t make any sense to me.”
On Friday, Beth Hawks, the owner of Zelda Zen, a long-standing boutique in Fells Point, shared her own concerns with crime driving business away.
