Local coffee shop selected as ‘Small Business Hero’ surprised with $20K
LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Recognizing a small business as a hero in our community.
Local coffee shop Dig It! Coffee Co., whose mission is to provide employment and mentorship opportunities to adults of all abilities, was selected as the ‘Small Business Hero.’
Founder Taylor Gardner Chaney was awarded a $20,000 cash prize from Intuit QuickBooks and Mailchimp.

She says this honor means a lot.
“I knew there was going to be people here, and they were honoring us as a small business, but I definitely did not anticipate that, so I feel like I’m still trying to take that all in,” said Gardner Chaney.
Gardner Chaney also says this money will help them move forward after a couple of years of just trying to get by.
