‘LOTR: The Rings Of Power’ Season 2 World Premiere Red Carpet Photos

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power gathered in London for the show’s second season premiere ahead of launch on Prime Video Tuesday.

Cast members in attendance included Ismael Cruz Córdova (Arondir), Morfydd Clark (Galadriel), Charlie Vickers (Sauron) and more. Head of Amazon MGM Studios Jennifer Salke was present in addition to Amazon MGM Studios’ Head of Television Vernon Sanders and directors Charlotte Brändström, Markella Kavenagh, and Louise Hooper.

“Darkness is rising rapidly. She’s got a point to prove, she made a big error,” Clark told Deadline of her character at the premiere carpet. “She’s learning to fight the darkness in a different way. I’m glad she was — in a way — deceived because it’s beautiful that she’s open, and I hope she manages to keep hold of that.”

Season 2 of the Prime Video show will follow Sauron’s attempts to reclaim Middle-earth after getting cast out by Galadriel. Season 2 of the show based on worlds created J.R.R. Tolkien arrives on the streamer August 29.
