Love Island’s Gabby Allen’s transformation from ‘two burgers a day’ and ‘miserable’ to inspiring fitness guru

Love Island’s Gabby Allen has opened up about her incredible transformation journey from living an unhealthy lifestyle where junkfoo was her go-to, to becoming a fitness inspiration for many. The 32 year old, who rose to fame on the third series of ITV’s Love Island back in 2017, finishing fourth with then-partner Marcel Somerville, took to Instagram to share her story. Reflecting on her past, Gabby posted before and after photos showcasing her remarkable change from feeling unhealthy to achieving a toned physique.

Gabby, who opened up on her social media last December about getting a boob job, reminisced about her days working at a burger joint, confessing: “I worked in a burger restaurant for years, literally eating two burgers a day because it was free and left more money for partying.” Her diet took another hit when she travelled to the USA, indulging in a “tub of Ben and Jerry’s everyday”. But upon her return to the UK, Gabby made a life-changing decision to prioritize her health and fitness.

She credits becoming a personal trainer as her “turning point”, which led her to embrace healthy living as part of her professional development. Gabby highlighted the importance of ditching bad habits to maintain her enviable figure, reports the Mirror.

Opening up about her challenging past with diet and body image in a candid Instagram post, she confessed: “I used to go through a cycle of binge eating and starving. I used to obsessively count and allow myself very low calories, then get so hungry I’d binge on SH***. I used to do fad diets like juice plus and then binge again. I used to go out and drink four bottles of wine, eat a Chinese on the way home, then have a fry up the next day and not move a muscle. I was miserable, I lacked structure, motivation, discipline and drive.”

“I don’t really share things like this but I was so proud of myself the other day when I saw this photo and how far I’ve come and how much my life and my prospects have changed that I thought you may be interested in hearing about my little journey.”

Gabby also expressed pride in her progress and is offering support to others who want to embark on their own transformation journeys. “My passion is you. Helping women like you get to where they wanna be too. You still have chance to work personally with me in my Level Up Challenge which starts next week.”

The former reality star is not just celebrating her personal growth; she says she is on a mission to empower others, promoting her upcoming Level Up Challenge to her followers.
