Lucky Duck Consignment Sale kicks-off fall shopping at Kruse Plaza

AUBURN, Ind. (WPTA) – The chance to shop for all the basic necessities and any items on the family wish list is back and bigger than ever.

The 14th annual Lucky Duck Consignment Sale is back at the Kruse Plaza with a stocked of over 83,000 discounted items ranging from children’s clothing, toys and household items, as well as maternity clothing and products from Thursday, October 3 into Sunday, October 6.

Pre-sale ticket holders start their shopping on Thursday and Friday. This season, pre-ticket sales are sold out.

General fee admission days are from Saturday October 5 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Sunday October 6 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Over 400 families consign their items and bring them in for sale at discounted prices.

Around 300 crew members organize and sort through all the dropped-off items to approve of high-quality products to resell to customers.

All items with a 50% sticker tag will be available all day during Sunday’s sale.

Left over items from the weekend that were not sold will be passed along to non-profit organization, the Fort Wayne Rescue Mission.

Money collected from the pre-sale tickets is donated to non-profit partner, the Vine Haiti.

This is the first full year since last October that the Lucky Duck sale has moved to Kruse Plaza from the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum.

Lucky Duck has won a national award of Top 10 Best Consignment Sale’s across the country in 2019.

The Spring 2025 dates are to be determined. Sale managers said to check their Facebook or Instagram account, as well as their website for future dates and pre-sale ticket signups.
