Luxurious Choctaw Casino & Resort—Durant: A destination for gaming and entertainment

About an hour north of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex sits Choctaw Casino & Resort—Durant, a casino resort and entertainment destination in southeastern Oklahoma that’s the perfect place for a weekend getaway.

The resort is bursting with activities for travelers of every variety. From family vacations to couple retreats, Choctaw Casino & Resort—Durant has you covered.

The AAA Four Diamond casino resort has more than 7,400 slot machines, table games, a poker room and a large non-smoking casino.

The resort offers more than 100,000 square feet of meeting space and seats more than 3,000 at the three time Academy of Country Music award-winning Grand Theater that features artists of all genres. The resort also includes more than 1,600 luxurious rooms and suites, 20 restaurants, 21 bars and lounges, six retail stores, two fitness centers, a spa, two outdoor pools and a water park.

Guests can soak up the sun at AQUA, the outdoor pool with family-friendly and adult-only options and a weekend DJ. Stop by the swim-up bar at the adults-only pool or the splash pad at the family friendly pool.

The Durant resort is brimming with live entertainment, with stars like Pitbull, Deep Purple and Bailey Zimmerman taking the stage at the Grand Theater. After a music-filled night, spend the next morning being pampered at The Spa, which offers facials, massages, manicures and much more.

The family-friendly District offers guests 20 bowling lanes, a 6-screen premier movie theater, 70 arcade games and dining options.

Travelers in the middle of a road trip can enjoy the Choctaw RV Park, located across from the casino. It features full hookups, fire pits and access to hotel amenities.

Not only does the resort offer luxurious amenities, but the casino is also quickly changing the lives of some lucky Texans.

The casino announced its first millionaire of the season last month, as part of the 2024 edition of 3 Months. 3 Millionaires. A 30-year-old woman from North Texas who chose to remain anonymous was declared the winner of the first $1 million grand prize drawing of the summer. She is one of three Rewards Club members who will become instant millionaires, as Choctaw Casinos will give away a total of $5.8 million this summer.

“I couldn’t believe it,” the North Texas woman said. “I was just beaming when my name was called. I was teasing my husband that they were going to call his name, and then they called mine. I still can’t believe it.”

She and her husband plan to travel and pay off their recently purchased home with part of her winnings.

The two remaining million-dollar drawings will be held on Saturday, July 27 and Saturday, Aug. 24 at 1 a.m., and winners must be present to claim the prize.

“We are thrilled to bring our 3 Months. 3 Millionaires giveaway back this summer and make more Rewards Club members millionaires,” said Jeff Penz, Senior Director of Gaming & Hospitality. “These are life-changing moments for our guests, and you could feel the excitement in the casino as we announced our first millionaire of the summer.”

While guests are racking up entries into 3 Months. 3 Millionaires this summer, they’ll also be earning rewards points with the new and improved Choctaw Rewards Club program.

The rewards club was updated in 2023, when Choctaw became the first casino brand in the region to bring customers an all-encompassing rewards program, across all Choctaw Casinos, where guests can earn points on both gaming and select resort spending like dining, shopping and more.
