Madonna Rocks Black Veil in Dramatic Entrance for Dolce & Gabbana Show at Milan Fashion Week
Madonna knows how to make an entrance!
The Queen of Pop, 66, arrived at the Dolce & Gabbana SS25 Women’s Runway Show during Milan Fashion Week on Saturday, Sept. 21, covered from her head to her knees with a lacy black veil, as seen in footage shared by Who What Wear.
She floated to the front row of the show — for which she appeared to be muse — in the show-stopping veil and, like the rest of her ensemble, it was a Dolce & Gabbana piece.
For her rare outing at the Italian fashion house’s latest show, Madonna paired the chantilly lace veil with a chiffon and long lace slip dress featuring a high slit. She added even more black with a corset, which she layered on top of the dress, and the brand’s Devotion Mini Leather Top-Handle Bag.
She tied in the gold details from the handbag with the rest of her accessories, which included an Alta Gioielleria diamond necklace in yellow and white gold.
Plus, taking the look from dark bridal to regal was a gold and crystal crown resting atop both the veil and her blonde tresses.
Madonna sat front and center at the Dolce & Gabbana show not only because of her celebrity status but also because her influence on the collection and show itself was undeniable.
Her style — particularly her Blond Ambition-era style — was everywhere on the catwalk, from pointy bras and religious motifs to blonde, curly wigs, which every model wore as they walked the runway.
She was also spotted sharing a sweet moment with brand founders Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana.

Madonna’s Milan outing comes shortly after another rare fashion week appearance earlier this month.
On Sept. 10, the “Hung Up” artist attended the Luar fashion show at New York Fashion Week, where she wore daring heels that caused her to stumble as she walked to the front row.
The singer faltered in her thigh-high leather boots as she walked to the front row at the Rockefeller Plaza show, shows footage shared to X (formerly Twitter). But, after a few moments of silence from the crowd as she recovered from the stumble, it was business as usual.
In an Instagram post she shared after the show to showcase her look, the pop icon wrote, “Spoiled myself with one night out for NYFW! @luar show was a GAG! 🥇🏆.”
Two of Madonna’s kids, daughter Lourdes Leon, 27, and son David Banda, 18, also stepped out at NYFW.
Leon attended the Willy Chavarria show in a rare public outing with her father, Carlos Leon, before hitting The Cut and Old Navy ’90s-theme party. Banda, meanwhile, made his NYFW debut in Off-White’s spring 2025 show.
