Man arrested for arson at catering business, police say

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – A man is arrested for arson at a catering business, according to Memphis Police Department.

Wesley Krajewski, 41, is charged with arson.

On November 8, 2024, just before 4:50 a.m., the Memphis Fire Department responded to a fire alarm at Fascinating Catering on Summer Avenue near North Highland Street.

On the scene, firefighters reported heavy fire and smoke coming from the exterior and interior rear of the building.

Firefighters quickly entered the front of the building and extinguished the fire.

The fire caused damage estimated at $189,000.

Krajewski is being held on a bond of $105,000. He’s expected in court on Monday.
