Man Fatally Shot In Arundel Mills Entertainment District

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD — A man is dead following a shooting in the Arundel Mills Entertainment District, according to police.

Officers responded to the area of 7000 Arundel Mills Circle in Hanover around 9:30 p.m. Friday after a caller reported a shooting, Anne Arundel police said in a news release.

When police arrived, they found an unidentified man in the rear parking lot near the movie theater complex with a gunshot wound to his upper body. Police rendered aid before the victim was taken to Shock Trauma Center.

The victim died before arriving at the hospital, police said.

The victim has not been identified, police said. Authorities didn’t release information about a potential suspect or motive.
