Marvel Move offers a new kind of fitness routine with the launch of Deadpool & Wolverine: Get Dogpool! virtual race

  • Discover how Dogpool goes viral
  • Choose from 5K and 10K distance options
  • Finish the Training Missions in time for the virtual race

Marvel Move is inviting you to get up and get running with a new update to the immersive fitness experience. In particular, you can look forward to whipping out your iOS and Android devices to celebrate the epic Deadpool & Wolverine bromance with a new virtual race.

In the latest update to Marvel Move, the minds behind Zombies, Run! are offering a three-part Virtual Race you can challenge yourself with. For Deadpool & Wolverine: Get Dogpool!, you can pick between 5K and 10K distance options and discover just what you can do to help when Dogpool somehow goes viral.

To help you hit the ground running, there will be two Training Missions that will ease you into the race with an introduction to the story. “Deadpool and I have a long history, and I’m always excited to return to the character. To work with Will Sliney again, after our time on Fearless Defenders? Well, that’s just icing on the cake!” says writer Cullen Bunn.

In-app artists Will Sliney and Rachelle Rosenberg are also in the spotlight. “My first ever job for Marvel, many years ago, was with Cullen on The Fearless Defenders. I’ve always thought athletes are brilliant to study. Seeing the body in motion helps you learn how to draw dynamic figures. For this Virtual Race, I wanted to have that really shine through in the art,” says Will Sliney.

Things will start to heat up when the first Training Mission for Deadpool & Wolverine: Get Dogpool! launches on August 30th, with the second training starting on September 6th. As for the Virtual Race itself, it will launch on September 13th, so you’ve still got time to gear up before then.

If you’re curious about how it all works, you can head on over to my Marvel Move review to get an idea.
