MB Chamber to recognize ‘Small Business Month’ with contest, rewards
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WPDE) — This November, the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce will be celebrating Small Business Month.
The chamber will celebrate the month in a variety of ways to showcase how small businesses are at the heart of the Grand Strand by creating jobs and providing our coastal communities with one-of-a-kind services.
MBACC will serve as a Neighborhood Champion with American Express supporting Small Business Saturday on November 30.
This day calls on consumers to support small businesses in their community.

“From family-run restaurants to local boutiques, artisans and professional services, let’s support small businesses and make this month a true celebration of appreciation for our local enterprises that contribute to our community’s vibrant character,” said Sarah Dahlstrom, PGS Business Retention and Development Coordinator.
The Small Business Big Deal Contest has been launched through the Chamber’s foundation Partnership Grand Strand. The contest will run through November to reward consumers for giving “shoutouts” on social media to participating businesses.
When consumers share photos with the hashtag #BigDealContest to Facebook, Instagram and X, they will be entered for a chance to win one of four $100 VISA gift cards given out each week in November.
