Meet Purdue greats, including Gene Keady, at Tippecanoe Sports Collectibles Show Saturday

LAFAYETTE — A chance to rub shoulders with some of Purdue’s all-time greats awaits at the Tippecanoe County Fairgrounds on Saturday.

RailSplitters Authentics will host its latest Tippecanoe Sports Collectibles Show at the fairground’s East Wing, 1406 Teal Road in Lafayette, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Purdue’s all-time winningest basketball coach Gene Keady, a 2023 Naismith Hall of Fame inductee, headlines a guest list that also includes Tim Stratton, the 2000 John Mackey Award winner as college football’s best tight end, and former basketball standout Bob Ford, who along with Stratton will be a 2024 Purdue Athletics Hall of Fame inductee.

Other guests include Purdue volleyball standout Chloe Chicoine, Purdue men’s basketball gameday host Marlee Thomas, and Purdue Athletics Hall of Famers Dave Schellhase and Stuart Schweigert, who played in the NBA and NFL, respectively, after their Boilermaker careers.
