Meg Ryan makes unique fashion statement in a green floral dress at Academy Museum Gala

Meg Ryan defied fall fashion by wearing a floral gown to the 2024 Academy Museum Gala.

The “Sleepless In Seattle” star stepped out wearing a green floral dress with black-and-white accent designs from Loewe to the star-studded event at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles on Saturday.

She accessorized her chic look with black open-toe wedges, a dainty silver necklace and a chunky ring.

The 62-year-old actress styled her short blond locks in light waves.

Several other A-listers, including Kim Kardashian, Demi Moore, Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner, Ariana Grande and Eva Longoria, turned heads as they walked the red carpet.

The annual gala, which honored actors Paul Mescal, Rita Moreno and Quentin Tarantino, raises funds for the museum, education programs and more.

Ryan, meanwhile, rarely walks red carpets and often keeps a low profile in public.

Earlier this month, the “You’ve Got Mail” star was photographed walking with her 20-year-old daughter, Daisy, in New York City.

The ’90s icon bundled up in a long black coat and hid behind sunglasses, while her daughter sported a brown sweater and jeans.

The mother-daughter duo appeared engaged in a light conversation as they munched on apples.

Ryan and Daisy were also seen on a shopping date in the Big Apple over the summer.

The “When Harry Met Sally” star adopted Daisy from China in 2006 when she was a toddler.

“I’m convinced of magic because of our relationship. We were destined,” Ryan told Glamour in December 2023.

The actress also shares 32-year-old son, Jack Quaid, with her ex-husband, Dennis Quaid, whom she was wed to from 1991 to 2001.

Earlier this year, the “Parent Trap” actor shared he had no regrets over his decades-long marriage with Ryan — despite infidelity rumors on both ends.
