Megan Fox Debuts Her Maternity Style—And Of Course There’s a Naked Dress

When one thinks of maternity style, words like comfort and practicality likely comes to mind. But in Hollywood, mom-to-be fashion is certainly evolving. Stars like Rihanna and Jennifer Lawrence are redefining what expectant mothers should or can wear, stepping out in avant-garde designs and sky-high heels that reflect their typical day-to-day wardrobes. Another star who is refusing to shed their style identity throughout their pregnancy? Actor Megan Fox, who, earlier this month, announced she is expecting her first child with Machine Gun Kelly. (Fox has three sons with ex Brian Austin Green).

While holiday shopping at Revolve in Los Angeles, Fox wore a striking maternity look wholly reflective of her signature style. With her baby bump on display, the star stepped out in a mesh, bodycon maxi dress that exposed her bra and briefs underneath. She styled the monochromatic look with a long leather trench coat.

Fox is famously a fan of naked dressing (she often sports sheer silhouettes on the red carpet that expose the body underneath) so it was only natural that she carry the aesthetic into her pregnancy style—staggering stilettos included. The look begs the question: Why should one lose their individual sense of style throughout their pregnancy? Sure, comfort and movement become pivotal, but with the right investment pieces, Fox proves that one can look stylish and fashion-forward, while still being pragmatic.
