GENEVA TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WOIO) – An ongoing investigation into drug trafficking at a Geneva Township home that also serves as a business led to authorities seizing methamphetamine, crack cocaine, and prescription drugs, the sheriff said.

A firearm and more than $400 in cash were also seized from the scene in the 6400 block of North Ridge Road W, Ashtabula County Sheriff William Niemi stated.

The Crime Enforcement Agency of Ashtabula County, with assistance from the Ashtabula County Sheriff’s Office and the Tri-County Regional SWAT Team, executed the search warrant on April 30, Niemi said.

“Charges are expected to be forthcoming pending lab results,” according to Niemi.
