The Miami Dolphins win last week over the San Francisco 49ers kept their small playoff hopes alive. They’ll need to win out and get a good amount of help to get in. But, there’s still a chance they can do it. That makes this matchup an important one for them. Jaylen Waddle got a limited practice in on Thursday, leaving some hope he’ll play through a knee injury.

The Browns at just 3-12 have been out of the playoff picture for a while. As they battle for a top pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, they’ve turned the keys over to Dorian Thompson-Robinson as their starting quarterback. Thompson-Robinson suffered a calf injury against the Bengals last week and was seen doing individual drills at practice this week. If he’s good to go, he’ll remain the starter. If he’s unable to go, it’ll either be back to Jameis Winston, or Bailey Zappe could get the nod. David Njoku still didn’t practice Thursday and isn’t likely to play.

Devon Achane Over 35.5 Receiving Yards (-115)

Devon Achane has been doing work in the passing game for the Dolphins. The young running back has reached 35 yards in the last four Dolphins games. He’s crossed 32 yards in seven of his last nine games. With Waddle either being out, or limited with his knee injury the Dolphins are sure to work Achane into the passing game like they’ve already been doing to help keep their offense flowing.

Miami Dolphins -6 (-125)

There might not be a ton of action in this game if we’re going to be honest, but Miami is clearly the better team especially if DTR gets the start at quarterback. Winston is turnover-prone, but at least he’s able to move the ball down the field. Miami is 5-3 ATS in their last eight games while Cleveland is just 1-6 in their last seven. It probably won’t be pretty, but give me Miami by a touchdown.
