Miami Fashion Week (MIAFW) has announced the lineup for its November 2024 showcase, returning November 19–23.
The expanded program will spotlight a mix of local and international talent, through a blend of runway shows, sustainability-focused programming, and exclusive activations across the city.
Building on the success of its January 2024 showcase, which introduced a new streetwear focus, MIAFW is expanding its Resort wear legacy to include a broader array of design genres.
Headlining the November shows are brands and designers, including Lafayette 148 New York, set to debut its resort collection at the Mr. C Coconut Grove. Returning designers include Ágatha Ruiz de la Prada, who will showcase her latest collection alongside her new autobiography, as well as Yas González, Giannina Azar, and Shantall Lacayo.
The November event introduces ‘Miami Made’, a new MIAFW initiative supporting Miami’s local design scene, including local designers such as Sigal. Meanwhile, joining the event’s international roster is Claro Couture from Spain, as well as Venezuelan designer Yenny Bastida.
In collaboration with Miami Dade College, MIAFW will host the expanded Miami Fashion Week Summit, a two-day event where industry experts will discuss sustainable practices, the role of influencers, and the future of fashion. To highlight emerging talent, MIAFW will also showcase designs from students of the Miami Fashion Institute at the Gary Nader Art Centre.
“Miami Fashion Week has always stood as a vibrant crossroads of creativity and culture,” said Lourdes Fernandez-Velasco, executive director of Miami Fashion Week.
“With an exciting new designer lineup and our continued commitment to sustainability, the event captures the unstoppable spirit that solidifies Miami as a thriving cultural hub. This November, we’re merging innovation with meaningful dialogue to commemorate fashion and redefine its future.”
