Michigan edge rusher Josaiah Stewart declares for draft

Edge rusher Josaiah Stewart is joining Michigan teammates Will Johnson and Mason Graham in making the jump to the NFL.

Stewart announced his decision to forego remaining college eligibility and enter the 2025 draft pool on Monday. Johnson and Graham announced their plans earlier this month.

Stewart spent two seasons at Coastal Carolina before transferring to Michigan ahead of the 2023 season. He had 5.5 sacks and nine tackles for loss to help the team on its way to a national title and then posted 8.5 sacks and 13 tackles for losses.

Stewart also had 16 sacks in two seasons with Coastal Carolina and his pass rushing prowess should lead to plenty of interest around the league heading during the pre-draft process.
