#2 Drummond Island Resort has a Fall Getaway Deal
We love this island at the eastern edge of Michigan. Hop on a car ferry for a quick trip from DeTour Village, and you’ve arrived at Drummond Island. The island’s big resort has a Fall Getaway Deal that even includes a sweet treat:
“Enjoy the best of fall at Drummond Island Resort,” staff said. “This deal includes one free s’mores kit, one free bundle of firewood, and 15% off standard room rates.” Find more information on the resort’s website here.
#3 Left Foot Charley celebrates 20 years in Traverse City
This in-town winery that collaborates with vineyard owners across the Grand Traverse region is celebrating two decades of delicious sips this weekend.
“Left Foot Charley is celebrating 20 years of collaborative farming and fermentation in Northern Michigan,” winery staff said. “Join us on the Piazza (across from our Tasting Room) for an all-day celebration with music, food, wine, and hard cider. On the lawn we’ll be sharing some throwback vintages and new releases. You won’t want to miss the party as we celebrate the past and raise a glass to the future.”
There will be live music from noon to 9:30 p.m. and food trucks on site. You can purchase tickets in advance online here.
General admission for those 21+ is $30 and includes a commemorative glass, sticker and four drink tickets. Additional drink tickets can be purchased on site.
For those under 21, tickets are $10.
