Miller strengthens Sports and Entertainment division with senior hire – Reinsurance News

Miller, an independent re/insurance broker, has announced the appointment of David Randle as Head of Commercial Business Development for its Sports and Entertainment division, who will report to Tim Nagle, Head of Sports at Miller.

With over 40 years of experience in the insurance sector, Randle has a strong background in both retail and wholesale broking throughout the UK and Europe.

Nagle commented: “David brings a wealth of expertise in the industry and a deep understanding of the insurance market.

“His ability to develop new relationships will be an asset to our team as we continue to elevate our offering to clients. I very much look forward to having him on board.”

He joins from Tysers, where he spent nearly 28 years in various leadership roles, focusing on client and insurer relationships, as well as new business development. Most recently, Randle served as Managing Director at Tysers. Before that, Nagle was a Development Director at Aon.

His appointment strengthens Miller’s already strong Sports and Entertainment services, the firm noted. It follows the recent addition of Siva Krishnan as Head of Sports and Entertainment for Asia, expanding Miller’s expertise into new regions. Since 2022, the Sports & Entertainment team has grown by over 30%.
