Millions expected to travel this weekend for the new year, here’s what to know

Millions are set to travel this weekend for the holiday, and the airports and the roads are expected to be busy.

With so many people at the airports, people are concerned about hiccups like delays and lost bags.

There are some new rules regarding air travel, though.

If your domestic flight is delayed more than 3 hours, you may be eligible for a refund. If your checked bag gets lost, you could also be due for a refund.

On the roads, they are expecting a new traveling record, according to AAA.

The Ohio Department of Transportation is expecting nearly 5 million Ohioans to hit the road this weekend.

If you are heading out this weekend, expect some mild traffic and make sure you are well rested before hitting the road.
