Monument Arts & Cultural Center to host special cabaret performance

BENNINGTON — A one-night-only cabaret performance is coming to the Monument Arts & Cultural Center.

The Center is thrilled to announce Songs We Love to Sing at 7 p.m. July 19.

This exclusive event will feature talented cast members from the Center’s past productions of “The Sound of Music” and “Fiddler on the Roof.” Performers David Sutton (Lazar), Ingrid Madelayne (Golde), Hope Jasper (Yente), Maureen Cossey (Sister Margaretta), Jessica O’Connell (Shaindel), Joey Masalsky (Rolf), Natalie Conroy (Liesl) and Lauren Biasi (Sister Berthe), who helped bring these classic shows to life, will reunite to deliver a night filled with music from “Phantom of The Opera,” “Pippin,” “Sunset Boulevard,” “Company,” “A Chorus Line,” “Hadestown,” “South Pacific,” “Spamalot” and more. Audiences can expect an evening of unforgettable performances.

“This cabaret is a celebration of the incredible talent we have seen at the MAC Center and a unique opportunity to bring our community together for a night of joy and reflection,” said Kristine Lewis, executive director of the Monument Arts & Cultural Center. “We are excited to share this experience with our loyal audience.”
