MSG Sports reports $53.3M in 2025 Q1 revenue

A month after the Knicks and Rangers began their 2024-25 regular seasons, MSG Sports reported $53.3M in revenue for the first fiscal quarter, representing a 24% year-over-year increase. Still, for the quarter ended Sept. 30, the company had an operating loss of $8.3M.
MSG Sports said the combined average season-ticket renewal rate for the Knicks and Rangers is approximately 97%. The company highlighted a new Knicks jersey patch deal with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, a new partnership with Lenovo and its subsidiary Motorola Mobility, and renewals with Verizon and Benjamin Moore. The company said it has seen strong renewals in its suite business, including its event-level club space.
In a statement, Executive Chairman and CEO James Dolan said the company “remains confident” it will generate long-term shareholder value.
