MSI Unveils High-End AMD Ryzen AI 300 “Strix” Powered Laptops For Gamers & Creators: Alpha 17 & Titan 18 Pro Detailed

MSI has unveiled its full range of AMD Ryzen AI 300 “Strix” powered laptops which come in high-end gamer & creator designs.

MSI Unveils Flagship Titan 18 Pro & Alpha 17 Laptops Alongside Others, Powered By AMD Ryzen AI 300 “Strix” APUs

During ChinaJoy 2024, MSI unveiled its full range of AMD Ryzen AI 300 “Strix” powered laptops lineup which includes a range of options for gamers, creators, and business use cases. Some of the more interesting products showcased during the event were the Titan 18 Pro, the Alpha 17 & the Sealth 16 AI+ Ryzen Edition.

Following are all the laptops that MSI will offer with AMD’s latest Ryzen AI 300 APUs:

  • Titan 18 Pro Ryzen Edition 2024
  • Alpha 17 Ryzen Edition 2024
  • Stealth 16 AI+ Ryzen Edition 2024
  • Creator 16 AI+ Ryzen Edition 2024
  • Summit 16 AI+ Ryzen Edition 2024

Starting with the details, MSI will be offering its gaming and creator “Ryzen Edition 2024” laptops with the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 and Ryzen AI 9 365 APUs. These APUs offer 12 cores & 10 cores, respectively, and feature up to 5.1 GHz clock speeds. They are also equipped with up to 16 RDNA 3.5 compute units clocked at up to 2900 MHz.

The MSI Titan 18 PRO Ryzen Edition 2024 flagship will feature the highest-end configurations with lots of cooling performance, lots of storage/IO capabilities, and up to RTX 4090 discrete GPUs for unparalleled amounts of performance. The laptop will also come with an 18″ OLED screen that produces some great image quality. Just like the Titan 18 PRO, the Alpha 17 will be a 17″ model & feature high-end specifications for gamers.

For its Stealth 16 AI+ Ryzen Edition, MSI is using a 16″ (16:10) 2.5K+ OLED panel with a maximum 240Hz refresh rate, weighing 2.1kg and measuring just 19.9mm thick. The laptop will come with a 99 Whr battery The chassis is made using a Magnesium-Alloy metal design and features up to 32 GB of LPDDR5x-7500 memory. The laptop comes equipped with MSI’s Cooler Boost 5 technology & features up to RTX 4070 discrete GPUs.

MSI has already unveiled its next-gen Lunar Lake “Core Ultra 200V” laptop lineup which we spotted at Computex 2024. That lineup will come in Prestige and Summit offerings but will be available later this year (around September-October). The AMD Ryzen AI 300 “Strix” APU lineup from MSI will be making its official debut tomorrow and pre-orders will begin on the same date with availability during August.
