Multiple youth sports facilities broken into, vandalized in Lincoln County

LINCOLN COUNTY, W.Va. (WCHS) — Multiple athletic facilities in Lincoln County have been vandalized over the span of a week, according to the county’s youth sports association.

Youth football and Little League concession stands, along with the Hamlin Middle School Field House and Lincoln County High School were “broken into and vandalized, all on different nights,” according to a social media post from the Lincoln County Youth Sports Association.

The post included multiple photos documenting the damage.

Athletic officials encouraged anyone who witnessed the break-ins to come forward with information.
