Muscatine YMCA hosts job fair

The Muscatine YMCA and IowaWORKS will be hosting a job and career fair in collaboration with the Greater Muscatine Chamber of Commerce & Industry on Tuesday, July 9. The fair will take place from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the YMCA, 1823 Logan Street, in Muscatine.

According to a press release, booths will be hosted by many local businesses, schools and staffing agencies, including Kent Corporation, HNI Corporation, SSAB, Bayer, Muscatine Power & Water, Musco Lighting, Muscatine Community College, the Muscatine Fire Department, the Muscatine Police Department, the Muscatine Community YMCA, Vision Center, PC, Wendling Quarries, Norfolk Iron & Metal, Crossroads, Culver’s, Hy-Vee, Phelps Uniform Specialists, UnityPoint Health, Community Health Care, TanTara Transportation Co., Carl A. Nelson & Company, Eastern Iowa Light & Power Cooperative, Temp Associates and RJK, Team Staffing Solutions, Sedona Staffing and Goodwill of the Heartland.

The City of Muscatine is currently taking applications for a variety of positions including Transit Driver, Police Officer, Golf Course Clubhouse Supervisor and many seasonal positions including Pickleball Instructor and Golf Course Food and Beverage. For more information, click here.
