Fashion hits and misses of the 2024 Olympics
The Olympics wrapped up in Paris on Sunday, but few fashion brands took advantage of the visibility they provided, Business of Fashion reports. LVMH was a lead sponsor of the event, and Dior was among the most successful in terms of placement, capturing 34% of social media mentions during the first 10 days of the games. Ralph Lauren also did well, notably seen on Emma Chamberlain, Snoop DoggMartha Stewart and Team USA. However, there were a lot of missed opportunities when it came to dressing the many VIPs who attended the Games. {Business of Fashion/paywalled}
