A jackpot-winning TAKE 5 ticket worth more than $30,000 was sold at a popular hotspot for winning tickets in New York state, according to lottery officials.

The New York Lottery announced that the winning ticket, worth $30,137, was sold for the Aug. 4 evening drawing.

It was purchased at Smokes 4 Less, located at 59 North Plank Rd., in Newburgh.

The line around this cigar shop remains consistently wrapped around the store, as this hotspot for winning tickets has undoubtedly contributed to the buzz and anticipation.

The winning numbers for the drawing are: 3, 16, 18, 20, and 31.

TAKE 5 numbers are drawn from a field of one through 39. To win the TAKE 5 jackpot, match the five numbers on your ticket to the winning five-number combination drawn. It costs $1 per game to play.

The drawing is broadcast on television twice daily at 2:30 and 10:30 p.m. TAKE 5 players with midday and evening draws on the same ticket must check their numbers at nylottery.ny.gov to determine if they have the winning numbers for the corresponding midday or evening drawing.
